So, I’ve heard quite a bit about you.  Not really, but I like to think I have.  Sort of.

Yeah, I’m eccentric.  But it’s the same kind as Erika, so you should be fine.

As I’m sure Erika has told you, I’m in the same grade she is, and we have 2 classes together.

So, yeah.

I don’t know what to say.

I don’t do a lot of conversation.  I guess I’m socially awkward.  Not really with people I know well and love (I’m talking to you Erika) but with strangers, I get tongue tied.

And I’m still deaf.  Just thought I’d throw that in.

I’m excited that I get to write this post saying hi!  I don’t really know what else to say, cause I’m pretty sure you’ve heard most of it from Erika.

Who’s Chris?  I hope I don’t sound impolite or anything, but I don’t think you’ve mentioned him yet.

Anyways…hm.

What’s induction day?  I imagine it to be quite similar to what we call “open house” over here.  I’m not sure though.  Open house is when we go to the school and we receive our schedules and we can walk around the school to get more acquainted.

Is a timetable kind of like a schedule?  Like what classes you have at what time?

Terrible music, eh?

I know how it feels to have different classes than your friends.  It downright sucks.  Last year, in 9th grade (freshman year), I had no classes with my friends Turner and Matt.  Luckily this year, 10 grade (sophomore year) I have 2 classes with Turner and 3 with Matt.  It’s uber cool.  I’m glad to hear you might be placed in classes with your friends.

I know you’ve probably told me this, but what kind of classes do you take again?  When do you go to your classes (like in the morning or afternoon?)

Here is my schedule:

1st period: Advanced Placement World History

2nd period: Accelerated Math II

3rd period: Journalism 4 (Yearbook)

4th period: Visual Arts/Sculpture

5th period: Intro to Art I

6th period: Honor’s Literature/Composition

7th period: Chemistry

I go to a school called Lee County High School.  Our mascot is the trojan man.  Do you have a mascot at your college?

Sorry it took a few days to reply, my mom is being awkward about me using anybodies laptop other than mine, so I’m using Chris’ laptop (:

I had my induction day into college yesterday, and all my classes on my timetable were mixed up; which as you could guess, isn’t fun. As I’m not on my laptop, pictures are going to be an issue here (sorry!)

Turner can look at this Tumbr if he wants too, as long as you don’t mind either :) Im listening to some really terrible music on the TV at the moment, but Chris is trying to defend the music. haha.

I went into college today on the bus, it cost me £3.60; turns out I didn’t need to go in, lessons don’t actually start until next week which obviously was a waste of a trip. I think £3.60 is about $5.00 or something like that. maybe.

I was put into a different class to Kavita this year, and a different class to Jess, which is really not fun. My englsih class is being merged with Kav’s so I will be with her; and I will probably have to change psychology too. Hopefully into Jess’ or Sean’s class, that would be cool :)

What’s college like?  Being from America, I’m quite curious as to how things work over there.  It seems so strange (probably due to the sole reason that America is all I’ve ever known [other than the Philippines of course])

High school here is…meh.

It’s awesome for sure, but there’s just too much work.  Too much.

It’s fine, take your time.  To be honest, I’m not all that photogenic either.

I just remembered.  Picture day is tomorrow at school.

I take horrible school pictures.  I’m assuming you have picture day over there too.

Well here, it’s a day where the whole school takes pictures.  We go at our allotted time, wait in a line, sit in a chair, stare and smile into a camera, and hope to god we don’t blink when the light flashes.  Cause if we do, it’s no takesies-backsies. 

Plus, these are the pictures that end up on our Student ID card and in the yearbook.

I’ll be sure to take a picture of my student ID card once I get it.

By the way, I told my friend Turner about this tumblr-thingy we have going on, and he was wondering if he could see it.  I’m fine with that, but I’m not sure if you’d want him to see our business.  That’s why I’m asking if it’s alright with you.  If not, I’ll just tell him to piss off.

Now to my response - 

To the grading system thing, yes, our grading system is different here in America. (or at least for our highschools).  What we have is A to D.  A is like 100-90/ B is 89-80/ and so on…

What I have in Chem right now is a 79. It’s still the middle of the 6 weeks though, so I can still bring it up.  Honestly, that 79 scares the crap outta me.  I’ve never gone that low before.

Yes! We are both sophomores!  But you’re in college and I’m in high school, so that part still confuses me a bit.  European schooling system I guess.  How old did you say you were again?

I’m turning 16 on September 14th.
